Actress Salma Hayek has teamed up with Netflix for a series of documentaries on fashion, glamour and style. And the actress made sure to show off a little bit of cleavage in a cleavage-baring swimsuit while promoting her upcoming documentary, “House of Gucci.”
In the documentary, Hayek learns to make perfect white Gucci “pride” tankinis to sell to women in crisis.
The Netflix original documentary will focus on Hayek’s experiences as a mom, influencer and model in an industry where she’s faced sexism and prejudice. The movie will premiere worldwide on Friday, March 22nd.
Hayek and husband François-Henri Pinault have been very vocal about their commitment to supporting women’s issues in Hollywood. Hayek helped bring awareness to the sexual assault case of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, which inspired Time’s Up, and Pinault is making an investment to empower the female leadership at Paramount Pictures. Pinault is also the founder of holding company Kering, which owns the Gucci and Saint Laurent brands. Hayek and Pinault together own 16% of Kering’s stock.
The “House of Gucci” documentary is part of Hayek’s series of Netflix films directed by her hubby, François-Henri Pinault. “Pinault series,” which includes “Missionary,” “Wanted” and “The Art of the Steal,” premiered in January of 2018.
