Two photographers who won The Washington Post’s 2017 Excellence in Photography Awards have been selected as winning titles in the paper’s 2021 Historic Photograph of the Year contest. (Awards will be presented in a gala celebration in April, as Washington celebrates the nation’s 250th birthday.) The Honorable Mention winners in the first two categories, iconic and nature, are:
